Dr. Casey Cazes, Owner

Dr. Casey Cazes provides personal, comprehensive dental care for families throughout Kerrville and the Texas Hill Country. He joined Hill Country Dental Associates in 2019 and acquired the practice in 2024. Together with his wife, Summer, he leads a veteran-owned, family-operated practice that combines longstanding relationships with advanced dental care.

Born in Louisiana and raised in Friendswood, Texas, Dr. Cazes developed a strong commitment to service through the Boy Scouts, ultimately earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University before serving as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy.

Following his military service, Dr. Cazes worked as a dental assistant at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he witnessed the difference thoughtful dental care could make in patients’ health and confidence. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree there and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. His advanced training included dental implant placement, wisdom tooth removal, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and comprehensive restorative care.

During his residency, Dr. Cazes studied under Dr. James (Jamie) Bone. Their professional relationship later brought him to HCDA, where he worked alongside Drs. Jamie and Jennifer Bone. Today, he carries forward the practice’s traditions of personal care alongside Dr. Jack Curtis and the dedicated HCDA team, while continuing to invest in technology and training.

Dr. Cazes believes good dentistry begins with listening. He takes time to understand patients’ concerns, explain treatment options, and help them make informed decisions. His goal is for patients of all ages to feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable asking questions.

His volunteer experiences include a SPEAR Open Wide Foundation mission trip to Guatemala, the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic at Haven for Hope, the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and Dentistry From the Heart.
