Director of Operations

Summer leads the business operations at Hill Country Dental Associates, supporting the team and helping create a welcoming, well-organized experience for patients. Together with her husband, Dr. Casey Cazes, she leads a veteran-owned, family-operated practice rooted in personal care and lasting relationships with Kerrville and Texas Hill Country families.

A small-town girl at heart, Summer grew up in Liberty Hill, Texas, as the proud daughter of two public educators. Their example helped shape her appreciation for learning, service, and community. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Summer intentionally pursued opportunities in small businesses and the public and private sectors, developing a broad understanding of business and a passion for helping people. At HCDA, she brings that experience to team development, human resources, patient communication, and daily operations.

A lifelong learner, Summer values thoughtful leadership, clear communication, and an environment where patients and team members feel heard and appreciated. Through her membership in Vistage, a peer advisory organization for business leaders, she continues to develop her leadership skills and bring fresh perspectives to supporting the HCDA team and patient experience.

Summer also values giving back to the community and supporting opportunities for HCDA to make a positive difference beyond the office.

Outside the office, Summer enjoys reading, art, spending time outdoors, and making memories with Casey and their son, Hunter.
